Doll Outfits

While most people use scrap yarn to make afghan squares, scarves, face cloths, socks... etc, I make outfits for my dolls. Not only do I get the opportunity to test out different patterns and finishing techniques, my dolls (especially the bear) gets new looks too!

Bear Overalls and Hoodie

Using pink yarns from different projects, I made a hoodie to test the schematics of hood-making, icord-edging and moss stitch. Even made some holes in the hood so his ears can stick out! The overalls were quite easy. You can't see, but there are (overalls) straps to prevent the pants from falling off.

Bear Suit

Another outfit for bearbear. This one I practised attaching a zipper (outfit zips in the back), intarsia (bear motif on his chest), and lots of shaping (for his huge stomache and abnormal bum).

Bear Tee

One of the first outfits for Bear Bear using some waste shetland wool. Turns out that later I frogged the original sweater (for me) and there's a lot more left!

Cabbage Patch Kids!

I hardly remembered that I made these! The gray sweater exlpored bobbles + a knit-purl pattern while the pink one was testing a lace-like pattern.
